Rohit Sinha is a trade professional with 15+ years of experience with Big4 firms, a boutique consulting firm and commercial experience. He is based in Hong Kong and has extensive experience in international trade and related tax advisory to MNEs in the APAC region. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) with focus in Accounting, Economics and Taxation.

Rohit has lived and worked in key markets in Asia including India, China, and Vietnam. This blend of technical accounting expertise, diverse training working in different countries and issues provides him a unique perspective on the business needs and possible solutions.

He has extensive work experience working in the APAC region. He started working with EY (a Big4 accounting/consulting firm) with their tax practice in India where he advised clients on international supply chain, tax planning etc. He was the tax team lead for first ever Formula 1 (F1) event in India in 2011. He later relocated to Hong Kong with EY and worked in the Greater China practice working with clients on their supply chain and tax related matters in the APAC region.

Rohit closely worked with teams on GST implementation in mainland China and in Malaysia, which involved making representations to the government authorities on their tax policy and implementation strategies. Rohit then worked with KPMG in Vietnam and has hands-on experience working in the growing southeast Asia market, including market entry analysis and support for MNEs, representation with the government authorities, business planning from corporate, tax, and labor law perspective. In his recent role, he was the APAC Trade Compliance head of Google Devices & Services where he led key initiatives for business expansion in India, market entry in Malaysia, manufacturing modeling in Vietnam, China, India, and strategies to stop product and data theft in their global supply chain.
